Something that caught my "Pinterest"

I was online looking on Pinterest for new and creative ideas and came across this. *Side note. If you haven't checked out this site, I highly recommend it!

How cute is that?

What you do:
1. Handwash the glass
2. Use blue masking tape to tape off the area you want to paint.

3. Make sure the surface is clean and dry.
4. Spray two coats of the chalkboard paint. Wait about 20 minutes between coats.
5. Let it dry overnight.
6. Take plain white chalk and rub the side all of the entire chalkboard surface. Clean with water and dry.

Some tips:
  • Wash these by hand.
  • When painting, do light coats.
  • Lightly sand smooth surfaces before painting if desired.
  • Chalk markers or pencils work better than hand held pieces of chalk.
*Thank you to Maryland Pnk and Green for this great idea!

Glittering Glamour- S&J

It was all glitter and glam for this bride on the day of her wedding. She was anything but traditional and it made her wedding a day to remember.

Her bouquet was full of roses and wrapped in plenty of sparkle to compliment her dress, veil and accessories.

The men followed suit and were each adorned with a single white rose

The bridal party bouquets were all white roses with the bridesmaid's accented with long black feathers which were incorporated in the ceremony and reception. .

The ceremony was beautiful. Rose petals lined the aisle as she walked, and the chairs were decorated in black and white feathers. The bride and groom stood on an elevated gazebo facing the audience while the minister administered the service from the aisle. It was so fun to work with this wedding. The couple sparkled far more than anything there.
